The Martin Cameron Smith EP: Digital Soul Deluxe
This is the new Martin Cameron Smith EP.
This project consists of material that I want to share with followers of the blog, fans of past projects that I've been a part of and people who believe in themselves and know they can do anything they want to.
Producing and writing with Grammy-nominated producers like Carvin and Ivan(Musiq Soulchild, Jill Scott, Faith Evans) having co-written with Darren Lighty(Donell Jones, Jaheim, LL Cool J), produced and mixed with engineer Everett Ramos(Marley Marl), written with Taj Jackson(Mario, Joe, Stargate) and having done production and remixes, I knew exactly how I wanted to approach the sessions.
I've been asked many times to do a project showcasing my production, songwriting and vocals and I knew the time was right.
All songs were produced, written, arranged, performed and mixed by me with assistance from Travis L. Nelson and Darryl Smith.
Some of you know me from the blog, Digital Soul Experience and to answer all of your questions, "Yes, I sang all of the vocals and played all of the instruments.
This is a producer driven project, allowing me to share good music, done the way I know it should be done - with good singing, great melodies, strong hooks and excellent lyrics.
You can expect this and a number of other releases to follow, leading into 2012.
